We haven’t posted in some time so I thought I’d share what we’re up to. First off, we’re taking care of the puppies. It’s amazing how much work they can be. They are doing well and they wake us up between 6:30 and 7 every morning with an immense amount of face licking.

Brooke is in her final push towards a BS in Technical Management. She has three classes left after she finishes up what she’s working on now. She is actively looking at where to go to get her MBA now. The puppies like her more because she doesn’t yell at them. She does, but my yelling scares the crap out of them.

I am back in school after a wonderful Christmas break. I hate school as much as I did the first time around. I wish I had more time to focus on it and actually read instead of doing the homework and just getting by. Some of it seems interesting. I’m also trying to promote Crowd Rent which aims to allow people to rent things they own to other people in their area. Make money off your stuff and help save the environment, it’s sounds good to me. Work is going well with a few trips to Cheyenne now and then. Nothing too bad though.

So there you have it, our lives in a few lines.

So, Brooke and I were going to get a teacup Yorkie from a neighbor who’s dog had puppies. He was adorable, Brooke had him as her wallpaper on two computers, we’d named him, and we were going to pick him up after we got back from Puerto Vallarta. Well, something happened and the whole thing fell through. It turns out it was for the best. Yorkies are needy and we can’t give them enough time. So we were still talking about puppies we went to the pet store. There we found two Shih Tzus, a male and female four days apart. They are about three months old now.

Brooke played with her, she was lazy and boring. She played with him and he ran laps around her for 10 minutes. We put them both together and it was love at first sight. While we bought them and all the supplies they need, they spent an hour rolling around and playing. They were both exhausted.

So, we now have Max and Zoey. Max is the brown one while Zoey is mainly white. They went to the vet yesterday and got a jillion dollars worth of shots and we’re taking them back in three weeks. They are getting good at going outside and have had only a few accidents. She’s a pro, he’s catching on. They’re in a pen at home to keep them in one place and not going on everything but eventually we’ll let them out to have free reign. I got up at 2:30 to let them out this morning and I’m going home at lunch to let them out. They’re a ton of fun, a lot of work, and even more expensive but they are so cute it’s worth it.
