Since the last time I posted was about how it was summer I’m a little shocked that this post is about how it’s winter! Well it’s fall, but it’s very cold out and no snow. So, what have we been up to since the last post? A quick recap for those who haven’t been paying [...]

Well, just as soon as spring showed it’s face winter smacked it and said get back in the basement, I’m calling the shots. And is winter ever calling those shots! We’re expecting literally the first substantial snow fall I know of this season and certainly this year. The snow shovel was getting [...]
Well Shane Co filed for bankruptcy in Denver today. If you know us you’ve probably seen Brooke’s engagement ring. We bought it at the Shane Co in large part due to their commitment to service and lifetime warranty. We paid less than we would have elsewhere and we felt we got a better warranty and [...]
So Brooke and I just got back from Mexico. We went to Puerto Vallarta this time after Cabo last time. Now I’d been to Cabo on a work trip before and that was my second time. Both times I was luke warm on it and after Puerto Vallarta, we both can agree, Puerto Vallarta is [...]
Well it’s come and gone and was it ever fun. Now if you know me at all I’m by no means festive. I’m not a fan of the holidays, they’re really useless with one small exception. It’s a great reason to see your family and we happen to be fortunate enough to have family we [...]
So the first weekend of November Brooke and I went to the Denver Zoo. Now I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a big zoo guy. I love a good Sea World but really, looking at giraffes is only so much fun. Well I have to say, I was very happy we went, it [...]
It’s been quite the week. Between work and school Brooke and I have been swamped and barely saw each other.
I had so much fun with my outdoor garden I decided to make an indoor herb garden this winter. I found this idea in the magizine Real Simple. I got the glass, scrap booking paper, and raffia from Michael’s. I found the herbs at Safeway and Sprouts. I have chives, basil, oregano, mint, and parsley. [...]
We finally made the trip to the Colorado Winefest in Grand Junction. It was a great trip with what I’ll describe as interesting wine.
This is the new Brooke and Mark dot net website. I got a great deal with Dreamhost.com so I had to take advantage of it.
